Yay! Today is my 24th Birthday!!! Weeeee!!!!

So occasionally I get these Thursdays where I am tripled booked. It doesn’t happen a lot but lately it seems like way too much. So last night I started off at T.G.I.Friday’s. It was Ladies Night and also Sex and the City themed. Blaire Kensington, Lisa Newcar, and I attended. I don’t think people expected to see us. Most of the people in the restaurant were there strictly to eat and drink. And there we were sitting at the bar. We made the most of it and enjoyed ourselves. Free food & drinks didn’t hurt either!!! Thanks Melv!

After, I made my way to Waltham for a bachelor party. I needed the money but kind of wish I never went. Totally embarrassing. First of all, it was in the center of Waltham which is total sketch and full of dumb dumbs. Made for an awkward walk from the parked car. Second, I had the understanding that the bachelorette was going to be there, along with family… aka family event. So I had all these cute jokes thought up. Instead I get there to find out that its only men, and I had nothing funny to say. And when I joked around with the bachelor about having a “past” with him – aka “ya slept with a drag queen” kinda thing – he didn’t get it and just sat there wondering where he knew me from. I had to step in and go “hunny, this is all a joke. I’m here to rag you hunny!”… totally lame. Lasted all of 5 mins and then I was out of there.

Finally I made my way back into the city where I performed at Jacques Cabaret. Very good turn out for a Thursday night. We had a couple bachelor/bachelorette parties and also a birthday. Good crowd, fun, and little drunk. However, we were low on performers so a couple of us did 5 numbers. And to had to that, the dressing room was 100 degrees, and I was sweating like no one’s business. Needless to say after performing, I desperately needed to shower.

I definitely enjoyed myself last night. It felt real good to get home nice and early and enjoy a cold shower and lay on the couch. I was also proud of myself for not having a drop of alcohol all night!!! Not only was I driving (which I’m very responsible for), but I need to learn not to drink while performing. I no longer need it to get over nerves!

Seems like it gets harder and harder to find time to grab dinner, drinks, and catch up with each other. I’ve volunteered to be a restaurant host and will be at Da Vinci for the duration of the evening, but it’s also my job to help pack the place with hungry (and thirsty) friends. So I hope you’ll come! You’ll also be entered to win a gift certificate worth $100 to Elephant Walk or Union Bar & Grill, and hopefully there will be some more surprises, too…

So about 2 weeks or so ago I went and ordered my brand new phone. Pure excitement right? Who doesn’t get wet at the thought of getting new gadgets and gizmos. We’re all kids at heart and nothing says we’re happy until something new and glittery is in our hands.

So. Being that I was available for an upgrade, and totally hated the current piece of crap I was using, I went and ordered, expressed-shipped, and received, my shiny-new, fast, responsive, non-crappy, gorgeous new Blackberry Curve 8900. (Pictured Below)

So… if anyone is familiar with the story of my life, they would know that if something new and exciting and good happens in my life, then stand back 5 feet, because something bad is about to occur. And of course it did.

When returning home from the nightclub the other evening, I decided to sit down and enjoy myself a little bit of chatroulette. Not wanting to waste all this hilarity on myself, I decided to invite my roommate to come downstairs to join in. During our little fun chat interactions with people from all over the world, we happen to stumble on a few blokes from God-only-knows-where-England. Of course I cut right to the chase and demand to see their junk… on the other hand they would like to see the shadowy person sitting next to me. While turning my laptop to point the cam directly at my roommate, she decides to use her hands as weapons to combat the evil webcam. In our fumble, *CRACK* goes the screen on my, not thaaat much old, Macbook. Sad. Very sad. And Apple will fix it…. only if I give them say… $360??? F*%& That….. I rather be visually impaired and surf the net like Helen Keller than to give them another dollar of my hard earned hooker money.

Whatever. I’ll figure it out. In the meantime, it is rather annoying to scan the web for porn… but I’m sure I’ll survive.

Okay, so my blog is lacking. Lacking everything. I haven’t been posting recently because:

• A) I haven’t had a real home in the past 3 months.
• B) I’ve been working more.
• C) Losing all creativity.

I hope to move into my new place this week. A fun young environment with a few girls in Brighton. It will be the place I shall stay permanently until the lease ends. That will give me a sense of home, and when I’m comfy cozy in my own room I tend to be more excited about jumping on the computer and being creative.

I hope to also redesign or at least expand the website. I’d like to dig out my camera and charge it up and take photos of friends and club-goers when I’m out at the club. Then post them in a very special Abby Photo Gallery. I think that would be fun and help drive more traffic to my site!! I’m also looking around for some fun widgets and gadgets that will help with interactivity between my site and popular social networking sites…. all-in-all, I want more people to visit and enjoy my site!

Also for the future, I’m planning on helping get all the Boston queens online. It will be one main website where you will find individual pages for all the girls in Boston…. a sort of one-stop-shop to find your favorite local queen!

All talk talk talk… we’ll see if I actually go thru with it!!!
